Taking blood pressue

Highlights

I began my professional nursing journey in 2009 obtaining my BSN.  I obtained a position as staff nurse on a Progressive Care Unit (formerly Telemetry) which I absolutely love still to this day.  I was fortunate and motivated to go after another dream of being a clinical nurse educator in 2014 and transitioned to the role of RN Clinical Educator for the Progressive Care Unit for 5 wonderful years.  In 2018 I took a leap of faith and applied for graduate school to obtain an MSN in Nursing Education so that I could expand my passion for educating nurses and explore other educational opportunities such as academia. I take pride in the work that I do and in the long-term relationships that I’ve built with my colleagues. I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun along the way!

In my career so far I have been an advocate in promoting the health of the community and have partaken in Children's Fairs, coordinated Safe Patient Handling Programs, participated in patient satisfaction small group discussions, and helped to implement a heart failure clinic for post-hospitalized patients who were admitted for a heart failure related event.  Through these interactions with colleagues and the community I am grateful to be able to support my local community as well as build ties professionally.

Thank you for looking through my portfolio, and please get in touch for any questions!
